Biscuits & “Sausage” Gravy

Yeah, even vegetarians get cravings for typical carnivore fare like sausage from time to time. Luckily, there’s a pretty good soy-based ground sausage replacement called Gimme Lean. It’s super versatile, finding its way into various dishes such as egg rolls, spaghetti, “dirty rice” & beans, and — of course — breakfasts, such as sausage biscuits.

This morning, I wanted to try something a little different, and somehow the idea of white “sausage” gravy popped into my head. A quick Google search turned up this recipe.

It was really, really, really good… so good, in fact, that it was greedily devoured long before I had the idea to take any photos. Maybe next time!
